Yes. You and/or your case manager are welcome to contact me for more info.
Do I have to be a first responder or in the military to see you?
No. You only need to be someone who wants change.
Do I need a referral from my physician to see you?
No. But physicians can and do refer to me through different provincial programs. You can just refer yourself, if you like.
Note: Certain types of insurance require a referral from a physician to see a psychologist in order to reimburse you through your benefits. Be sure to check.

What is your cancellation policy?
48 hours. Be sure to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours or the full session fee is charged. This policy is strictly enforced out of respect for the people on the waitlist.
Since insurance companies and employers don't typically cover missed appointments/late cancellations, everyone is personally responsible for managing their appointments. There are exceptions, of course, like personal emergencies or being on-call or standby, for example. We can make a plan for this if needed.
Do you bill insurance?
Yes. Feel free to ask if we can bill your insurance but here are some third parties we commonly bill: Medavie Blue Cross, RCMP, CAF, Canada Life, and many more. Please note that I do not accept WCB or WSIB referrals.
Note: You are responsible for late cancellations or missed appointments since third parties typically do not cover it.
How old do I need to be in order to come see you?
I am currently only treating adults, 18+.
Do I need to be in BC, Alberta, Ontario or the Yukon in order for you to help me?
Yes. Psychology is provincially regulated in Canada. That means I can only practise psychology in provinces where I am registered, and in the unregulated region of the Yukon. Note: The Yukon is in the process of forming a regulatory College and I am in the process of completing my registration.
